As Mr Coleman stated, and according to Dr Townsend in his exhaustive work on Bob, the drums and horns "were out in the open"- according to Ch 8 footnote # 30. Al Stricklin was my maternal grandfather, and I can tell you Dr. Townsend was incredibly thorough in his research and desire to accurately record the history of Bob Wills and his music. And, BTW, my grandfather's book _My years with Bob Wills_ is a good, but all too short glimpse into the early years. Mr. Coleman- do you have a fiddle player in YOUR family?!!
