Lots of folks asking about Benny Johnson. He was working for me at the Ponderosa Ballroom and died in 1976 in his daytime nap. He was my Mothers half brother and half Bro. to Macon and Dalton Adams and the Dixie Playboys. They had Henry Boatman and Peeler Jones and others and traveled over Texas in the late 30's and 40's after the war. I'm being inducted in the hall of fame for POWS music this Sun,Aug 13 in Auburn Wa. a small town near Seattle along with Wayne Glasson,Dave Alaxander, Ray Price and others.
