Being a Fender Sales Rep since the early 1950's I knew Leon well. I do recall Leo making an exception to Leon's request to have a red quad made up. The standard colors were "blonde" or and "sunburst" Leo made this request because of Leon's loyalty to the Fender Company. Jody Carver
