This is the one that Fender made special for Leon in 1957 i don't know if it is 001 but i know it is the one Painted in the dark cimmaron red that Leon wanted. It say's Leon McAuliffe across the front and has a different control layout from other Stringmasters i have seen. It is featured on the cover of the album "Steel Guitar Rag"
