Wow!!! That sure was a long story I thoroughly enjoyed reading it thanks so much for all the details! Red I think was one of the most greatest Opry hosts ever and as many of you know he and Hank Williams were very good friends. I actually thought Red quit the Opry in 1954 when he started his Ozark Jubilee show? I guess he still appeared on the Opry every now and then.
