I read somewhere that Bob and the Playboys went back in the late 40's or early 50's. Seems like Red Foley was the MC at that time and it was a lot more hospitable. "n"ashville needed Bob, he never needed them. Look at what's there today... Would rather spend one night dancin' at the Stampede in Big Spring than spend a week in nashville expenses paid and all!
