We lost Western Swing and Jazz lead guitar legend Benny Garcia over the weekend. This kind and gentle man and incredible guitar player was born on March 20, 1926 and played guitar for KINGS. He played with Bob Wills and Benny Goodman. Some say that he also played with Spade Cooley. He definitely also played in the wonderful Merl Lindsay, Tex Williams and Hank Penny bands. He will be buried this Thursday.
