Back in the 1970s, newspapers carried a variety of incorrect information on Bob Wills. When a piece of information was published once, it seemed like it was repeated endlessly. Some of my favorites were: Bob Wills wrote "The Yellow Rose of Texas" and Bob Wills drove a Cadillac with longhorn steer horns on the front. It was amazing how many articles. I learned young not to trust the press!
