Anybody know where v.O.(Shorty) messer is living these days? Haven't heard anything about him in a long time.I've known him for a long time,back to the time he was learning to play steel.He was really a good steel player.I think he got started playing with Ho Rileys band around Borger in the late 40's or early 50's.
