Howdy Friends, We just wanted to let all of you fans of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys know that you can hear the music live on the radio, with real disc jockeys. The National BIG Fresno Barn Dance plays Bob and the boys, live from Fresno, California, on Sundays from noon (supper time) to 2:00, on KFSR, 90.7 F.M.. You can tune in on your computer at www.KFSR.org. You'll hear Bob Wills music from almost all periods of his career. Fresno was home to Bob and Betty from 1945 to 1948, and the Triple "B" Ranch was headquarters for one of the best Playboy bands (our opinion), featuring our late, great good friend, Joe "Jody" Holley, the left-handed fiddle player. It was a lively period for music. On Sundays, you'll hear all the greats, Tommy Duncan and his All-Stars, Junior Bernard and the Radio Gang, Harley Huggins, Johnnie Lee and his boys, Luke and the Rhythm Busters, Billie Jack and his Western Swing Band. You'll even hear a little Spade Cooley, the other king of western swing. You can even call in your requests at 559-278-4082. Don't miss it friends and neighbors. With love, from your pals Don & Steve
