Rosetta, I read the article and got goosebumps. You know your father loved you. Like you said, I think it's very much the musician's lifestyle...fame and fortune but not always an easy road...much...often family falls to the wayside. Even with people who are not famous, this heartbreak happens everyday. With me, my father died in a car wreck when I was one...and he was only 25. I never got to know him. From pictures, report cards, etc...I learned who he was...a smart, attractive young guy geared to athletics and fast cars...and he genuinely loved my mother. Well, I wound up with my grandparents (Shang & Evelyn) after my mom's dip into the drug world. So, I survived without both parents but in return, I was showered with so much love and my grandfather was by all means my father figure and he was a ton of fun. They say things happen for a reason...some things seem so unfair but you really do have to look for the positive. You are just as important as any of your father's children. And whatever you didn't get to tell him while he was here, it's okay to tell him now. I think they're all up there watching us. I am reading Jimmy Latham's book right now. I think I need to get yours when I am done. Good luck.
