I was reading one of the archives about how some western swing musicians considered themselves jazz musicians and it just brought back memories of my grandfather. If you just called his music "Country", he would get upset...no, it was "Country Western Swing". And he took offense to the terms "Hillbilly" and "Bluegrass" as well. I can remember that.
