I just returned from a week of being in Wichita Falls. What memories for Western Swing- I slowly drove by the Sam Gibbs music company, felt the "spirit" of the old MB Corrall- Leon, Nat, and Sam, Hoyle Nix, Mr. Bob- so many who played at the old MB Corrall. Duke has mentioned the book, "Playing by Heart", the story of Leon Gibbs and the Miller Brothers Band. It's a great book and I visited author Carroll Wilson who let me see some of Leon Gibbs archives and memories. My favorite,- a big 2 page advertisement, flier of the grand Opening of the Miller Brother's MB Corrall!
