Went to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City today. Great museum! They have a new section dedicated as "The Western Performers Gallery" which has tons of television and movie props from our favorite westerns. Also a little movie theater with clips of famous westerns. There is a nice display of Bob Wills and Johnnie Lee Wills. One of Bob's fiddles (they call it a violin) and Johnnie Lee's banjo are there on display. A few records, a little history and pictures. There is an enlarged picture taken at the Showboat in Las Vegas in June 1959 with Bob and the Texas Playboys along with guest Wade Ray that is the same one we have on our biography section for Glenn "Blub" Rhees. They have it noted as Bob at Cain's about 1940 - I emailed them to correct this matter! You owe it to yourself to see this display when in OKC.
