I can't stand Clint Black's singing (except on 'Better Man') but I was just thinking he has an uncanny resemblance to Roy Rogers, who Spade Cooley was nearly a double for. In fact he was Roy's stuntman in some of his western movies and they were often rumored to be related. Clint could play Cooley with ease.
