I enjoyed the biography of Millard Kelso who was with Bob in the 50's and who played with Hoyle Nix in Big Spring in the late 50's along with Eldon Shamblin. I took a few lessons from Eldon who was the most awesome guitar player I ever heard, bar none. Kelso's wife was also a great piano player who played with Max Alexander and the Hi Fi Combo all around west Texas. I wonder if she's still alive, if anybody knows please post a note about her. Also western swing is alive and well at Big Balls of Cowtown, named after a tune written by Hoyle, which is located in The Fort Worth Stockyards, with live swing every night. Thanks, Cherokee
