Tagg is my favorite singer and he was a darn good vocalist. The late Frank Booher, who befriended Tagg about a year before Tagg's passing said Tagg always regretted not being able to sing "Faded Love" on the Kapp albums but by that time, Bob had pretty well lost creative control, song selections. I have four Tagg songs he recorded on a regional label towards the end of his career, -"You're Just a Honky Tonk Angel" others and my favorite -"Ode to Bob Wills" in which he pays tribute and thanks to Bob and all the song lyrics are bits and pieces of Bob Wills songs from over the years.
