Red, I haven't researched this 'story' enough to make it public yet. There's just too much assumption about it. Give me a little time to dig into it more because it's a real new spin- or at least to me.

About Luke, I don't know if he partied harder than his little brother Billy Jack from what I've heard. Even still Billy Jack still managed to be a better band manager than Luke. Ol' Luke even told me himself, "Oh, I was the worst bandleader in history! I just didn't care because we all were having such a good time. Of course Bob'd have to bail me out everytime. I knew he would. It was always his idea for me to have a band anyway, so I just let him take the fall. He'd say things to me like, "Luke, how long have you been working for me, not counting today?" or "I don't know how we're gonna get by without you but we're sure gonna try" and then he'd let me know he was sending me off to have my own band. He rounded up guys for me to play with, got my bookings and set up recording contracts for me. He ended up paying all the bills including the payroll. I just didn't stay on top of anything the way you're supposed to. He sent Eldon out one time to look into it but it was all in such a mess. He was the one who really handled Bob's business after the War, but even he couldn't do us any good. It always wound up the same."
