Robert Johnson's second and final recording session took place in Dallas, Texas on June 19th and 20th, 1937. It isn't likely that he and Bob Wills met (there at least), but it is very likely that they both heard each other's music. Kokomo Arnold recorded 'Milk Cow Blues' on 10 Sep 1934. Robert Johnson was very familiar with this song and in fact based one of his own songs 'Milk Cow Calf Blues' on Arnold's now legendary song which he recorded in 1937.
