BTW- Eldon told me that the drummer AND Gary were both drunk during the sessions for his album. When I was in OK in '84 while living in Ardmore I was looking for a fiddle player to work with and was told Gary lived in Durant. I told ES I was gonna try to find him and maybe do some gigging. He told me, "Good luck finding the guy, he's one of those jugmen, you know and he didn't finish the the tracks on my album." I forget who the other fiddle player was. Was it Curly Lewis? My album is packed... (dang I hate that!) I wish somebody would issue that album on CD! Maybe Jack Rider, the attorney who played steel on it, I think he lived up in Stillwater, maybe we can get him to re-issue the album on CD again! He owned the master last I knew. Wonder if he is still around? Buddy
