Not a clue as to which cuts Eldon used the Strat on Bob's March '54 MGM session. He didn't know either, but told me it was on probably about half of them. He was still pretty unsure of the guitar at that point. As soon as they finished recording in Hollywood they went out on tour for about 2-3 weeks. By the time Wills & Co. made their tour of No. CA, OR, WA and ID, he was sold on the instrument and he gave Billy Strange back the borrowed Gibson f-hole archtop. Buddy
