Robert, Did they mention Eldon Shamblin? If not they should have! Guitar wise he has influenced people for decades and still does to this day. Junior Barnard is another important Oklahoman who played the guitar and influenced players nationwide. Neither one of these fellows have received the credit that they deserve. They were both pioneers in the realm of the electric guitar and their importance has generally been glossed over by most historians while they herald the accomplishments of Texas born Oklahoma resident Charlie Christian.
