I have that book Jean and Tom Prisk intervuew my dad back in 1994. The intervuew was at Blubs house in Collinsville someone at Baylor made a book of my dads intervuew. Named Glenn Rhees,Memoirs Universty of Baylor oral history. it was sent to me last year. It is real good tell about on the road with Luke Billyjack Johnlee and Bob. It tells how dad got his name Blub they were on the road with Johnlee.My dad was nicnaming every body Bennie Garca was Mighty mouse one guy was Pole cat because he stunck dad and bennie kept tessing him he got mad and called my dad bluber Johnlee said no lets call him Blub.Another story about how dad became with the Texas Playboys he was playing Cain after the show Johnlee tould dad to take his thing of his bus and put them on Bobs bus my dad asked whey Johnlee said your going to play in Nowater tonight with bob dad said John I wont to stay on your band, this is just for tonight. dad was afaid because he had herd Bob was hard to work for so dad put his stuff on Bobs bus they played the gig on the way back to Tulsa dad fell asleep when he woke up they were somewhere in Texas and on the road for six months. my mom was so mad at my dad wondering why he didnt come home he called her the next day And said he was kidnapped.
