It was about 1967 if I recall correctly,at the Killeen, Texas Rodeo that I guess Sam Gibbs booked for him- Bob was to appear and with a pickup band. Pouring down rain- most ALL THE CROWD HAD LEFT , just me and a few HS buddies REMAINED but he performed cause there were people there to see him and hear him and I will always remember that AHAAA sound he made in person and in the flesh.!
