Hall: In talking with Leon once over at Rogers State Music School, he told me Jimmy Hall wrote the song ''T-U-L-S-A, STRAIGHT AHEAD'' on the bus coming back to Tulsa after playing a gig at Wichita, KS --and it took him something like 15 or 20 minutes total, and they started playing it in dances almost immediately.
