Wasn't the 1955 Honky Tonk of Porter Wagoner, Faron Young, Carl Smith, Webb Pierce and the Hanks right in line with Bob/TPs capabilities? Did it have to do with Bob's well-documented disgust with Nashville? Maybe it was as simple as he was gonna ride out on the horse he rode in on.... JHH
