If you have, or know of a youngster out of high school interested in Music I have a place to recomend. South Plains College in Levelland Texas is a great place to learn how to play, perform, record, mix sound, manage bands, learn to get gigs, and become a great picker. You don't have to have good high school grades, or ACT grades to get in. They love to help students who didn't fit in well at high school. One of my kids go there and has learned an amzing amount in one semester. It has given my child direction, and goal setting in life. My student is striving toward a music career, not just drifting from one bad job to the next. Oh yes they teach WESTERN SWING there, along with many other styles from Rock, to Country,to Bluegrass. If you want to talk to me post your E-Mail, or just contact Mr. Cary Banks at the the school. I am not affiliated with South Plains, and I am not Mr. Banks.
