I will never forget the first time I saw Jody Nix was at a dance at the Stampede he was real young and playing drums for his dad, then a few years later Bob Wills played a dance in Midland, Texas at Musics nite club. Hoyle Nix started a break down then passed the fiddle to Bob Wills after Bob played he handed it to Jody all three was just great Jody was about 14 years old boy did he have some great teachers in Hoyle, Bob and many other great fiddlers Jody Nix has a band that his dad Hoyle and also Bob Wills would be proud of.
