The January edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" is now up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month. The theme for this month, January, is a tribute to the vocalists that sang with Bob Wills. The show will open with a grouping featuring Tommy Duncan and Glynn Duncan as well as their brother-in-law Joe Andrews from their days after Bob Wills. You will also enjoy Jack Loyd off the radio in 1953 with Bob Wills as well as Truitt Cunningham, Lou Walker and Lee Ross from their days after Bob Wills. There are a couple of cuts from the 1986 Western Swing Society- Sacramento Hall of Fame weekend including one with Tiny Moore, Dean McKinney Moore and Jimmie Widener in the vocal spotlight. Leon Rausch will be heard as will Bill Choate, Tagg Lambert, Junior Mitchan and Rusty McDonald all from their days after Bob Wills. You will also hear a couple of Bob Wills great female vocalists from their post Bob Wills days. Ramona Reed will be heard from a 1984 Texas Playboy reunion and Laura Lee McBride from a rare album that she did with the world famous River Road Boys. The late Leon Huff is heard from a Bullet recording that he did with the Johnnie Lee Wills band from ca. 1950.
